Happy New Year again

On a technical note, the images on the blog are scaled to fit the page, but clicking them will show them in full size.

The text on both is the traditional Japanese New Years greeeting of

Akemashite, omedetou gozaimasu.
Kotoshi mo yoroshiku onegai moushiagemasu.
Heisei juhachinen gantan

Which roughtly transalates as

On the opening - start, beginning (of the year) - humble congratulations.
This year as well I beg you will extend me your favour.
18th year of the Heisei reign, New Year's Day

And with that, even though posted a little early, Happy New Year, everybody! :)

Panthere Noir

PS: It's the Year of the Dog next year in the Chinese zodiac, therefore the canines: (artic) wolves, or an adult and a wolf pup, rather than domesticated dogs, because I find them more powerful and appealing . . .
