Back again

after a month's hiatus to see the Black Lily story as part of the (Inter)National Novel Writing Months - where I actually made the grade (this url may change depending how many people still verify their stuff in the last ten hours; in any case, you can find me on the page of writers registered on 2004/10/20) - I'm back to writing a bit on this blog again, too, even if for now it's just a slew of urls for today:

A site to encourage John Kerry to demand a recount now that a judge in Ohio has ruled third parties have no standing to demand early action - I can't understand why he hasn't yet! - so please, add your voice to those who already have written.

Meanwhile elsewhere . . . and naturally, the alleged fraund in the Ukraine is not in the lest comparable to claims of massive election fraud and voter intimidation in, say, places like Ohio, or Florida . . . naturally not . . .

Plus, a site I disocvered only today, but suspect will become a frequent reader.

On Internet issues, Australia's The Age reported a couple of days back that Finland warns against using IE 6.0 while the nice techie gals and guys at the Syndney Morning Herald A encourting their readers to join the fox hunt - no, not the sport that has recently met its end in England, but hunting the net with Firefox, the Mozilla Foundations free open source browser, which is far safer than security nightmare IE - that has been downloaded nearly 7,5 million times since it's official 1.0 version release according to the Spread Firefox website. Seems the ten million downloads goal is just a matter of time.
